    Hello everyone,
I'm going to buy a new laptop soon-ish (it is going be a Clevo as well) but not sure what to do with my current one. It's a 3-year-old p150em with a dead 7970m. Overall it works mostly fine, but I'm not sure it's worth searching for someone to take it since it's heavy and with integrated gpu, so I'm looking for a recycling center, preferably official Clevo or related services. Are there any in Europe (preferably in France but I could send it pretty much everywhere)? Maybe some resellers do this, maybe even for a discount for a new laptop? Just throwing my laptop away feels bad for me...
Keeping it is not an option since I'm working abroad and traveling and can only have one machine.

theres a very good possibility that the gpu could be baked in the oven and resurected back to life. weve had reports that this can be anything from a couple of weeks to a couple of years.

sounds stupid putting a gpu in the oven but it actually works. it slowly melts the solder which will then reconnect the broken contack and hey presto it works.

weve had one report of complaint in the past 7 years
the twat put his in the microwave as he thought it would be quicker and then wondered why is micro blew up. numpty :D

i cant link to the page as at work now and links are blocked.

I've already tried that. It helped a bit, but eventually it died again. So it is "dead-dead" :)

    thats a shame.
as said above i would sell it for parts on the marketplace as people are always after spare parts and it will get you a bit of money back.
