When I move the cursor, or just about any other window over a black area on the screen there is a dark red shadow that follows the window. It is like this with any dark black shading, any color lighter than it that moves over causes a strange red glow of whatever passed over it. I've tried calibrating the screen, but everything checks out normal. Does anyone know what this is?

Do you have the 95% matte upgrade screen? There was a red ghosting issue on these in the past, but QA has been keeping nearly all from reaching customers. Please contact us directly if you do have that screen and we can get it taken care of :)

Yea, we haven't seen the red ghosting issue in a long time, when did you purchase your laptop?

I purchased it about 3 weeks ago, just got here yesterday though. Apparently you were out of the matte screen, so I was told I was being given the 95% glossy, but I'm not sure how to tell if it's just the regular glossy or not. Either way, its a glossy. I tried doing some research on the issue, not too much came up for laptops. Why does this occur? Is there an easy fix or is it a hardware problem?
Thanks for getting back to me Malibal. 10pts.

Yeah exactly, I've been playing skyrim so pretty much every lighter ---> darker surface causes a red ghostly mist to follow the objects.
