I've been in love ever since I found it. And now I have a few questions regarding this baby:

    Does it suffer from Throttling?
Can the mSATA (i.e mSATA SSD) be used to boot an OS? Or is it only there for that cache feature?
3x SATA ports + 1x mSATA; true or false? From what I understand it's 2x SATA and the 3rd one is the were the DVD-drive is fitted.
As I understand this baby got MXM 3.0... ammarite?

    That's it for now!

    Heh, window-shopper love mate?

Throttling - well, you know how it is. Badly applied TIM, poor contact, too much OC == Throttling x 9001. That's what throttlestop is for.
mSata - AFAIK (and it was listed on Sager website), you can use the mSata as OS storage. The option was listed for using an Intel 330 80GB SSD.
3x sata ports + 1x msata - errr... not so simple. AFAIK, the Clevo p151em1 comes with one HDD Bay (1x SATA), one Optical bay (1x SATA), one mSata (thus only small 1.8" drives fit in here), and one External Sata (that also doubles as a USB 3.0 port). No Triple-Raid0 + caching for you.
MXM - Yes, the notebook comes with MXM3.0 Type B technology, and due to the HM77 chipset you can also use Enduro / Optimus technologies to save battery life.

So I can save money by opting for a 660m and later going for 680m then huh. Seeing how the prices are I will probably get a 3720QM. My question is however if that mSATA port is SATA 2/3?

The thing is with the 9130 is that you will need to buy a 180w power adapter later too as with the 660m it only comes with a 120w i believe 120-150w, but you will need a 180w. So add another 95 dollars to the cost.

I'm buying it from a German reseller (Sweden here). So I assume it comes with a 180w power adapter.... At least that's what the config seems to be telling me, or is that just the upgrade option. :s

Not sure, they could send you a 120w with the gtx 660m to save some cash.

Typically the 9130 comes with a 120W adaptor, most people will stock 180W optional adaptors just as they are compatible with all the systems.

Yes, all sager mSATA ports are SATA II at this point.

People are really hoping the next intel chips supports more than 2 SATA III ports.

Heya! Apart from the backlit keyboard is there any difference between this one and Clevo P150EM/Sager NP9150?

I just found a Swedish retailer that offers 180w PSU ootb and a so much cheaper 680m etc, just check the link.

So I'll be getting this one for sure. My question this time however is if they can somehow skip the CPU, SSD/HDD and RAM modules since I have my own? I will definitely call them, but I was just wondering if anyone else have made such a request?

You could do the upgrade but its not recommended. Per Sager the motherboards on the NP9130 are not designed for a 100W TDP cards like the 680M. They are just designed for 75W TDP cards. While a 680M will probably work it will shorten the lifespan of the motherboard.

You will want to contact that reseller to see what parts they will allow you to skip. Some dont let you remove any, some may allow removing the a couple parts, and others can sell it barebones. It does vary depending on the place you get it from, so asking them directly is the best thing.
