i just noticed recently that the "f" key in my chiclet keyboard is slightly raised, is that normal? or probably just an imperfection on the keyboard?

Is there a screw under that part of the keyboard? I had a Thinkpad that had a loose screw that caused the keyboard to bulge. One turn and it was fixed.

Is anything wedged under it? Cardboard, a styrofoam pellet, tiny bug?

Is the key snapped all the way onto the riser?

Other than an imperfection, that's all I can think of.

how can i check the screw?

no objects or insects under the key.

im not sure if its snapped all the way in, but i tried pushing it down and its still slightly raised.

Look at one of the service manuals. Search being what it is on this site, it will take me a bit to find them.

EDIT: I was j/k about the bug. :)
