I recently got my NP8651 and I was wondering if anybody has had any luck removing the "Onkyo speakers installed" branding on the plastic case. its the only logo I have left on the computer and I would love for the whole thing to be totally clean.

ah its on the plastic bezel? sorry, didnt see that... in that case be definitely careful, since such solvents can attack the plastic surface and make it seem kinda milky or roughened up...

Since it's printed directly on the chassis, you're pretty liable to mar the surface in trying to do away with the logo. You could cover it up instead, though I suspect that would not look much better.

Removing the logo won't make the speakers sound better, placebo or otherwise

What headphones do you use? I've got a set of Sony MDR1- ADAC heaphones with built in USB DAC.. I don't use it in DAC mode on my computer as DAC screws up voice etc in anime (althougb music is fine).. I use the DAC on my mobile and you definetly can notice the differnece in quality compared to my older ear buds

You're out of luck on the plastic bezel unless you remove it and paint or skin it to cover it up.
