    Hey guys,

I'm a total noob on the forum, but I have a question regarding the plastic bezel around the screen of the NP9150. I recently replaced my keyboard (after much hassle), and after doing so, I noticed two scuffs/scratches right on the bottom left and right corner of the plastic bezel around the screen. I'm pretty ticked off that this happened, so is there a safe way to remove scratches like that from the plastic bezel? I've searched around, and there seems to be a consensus that some car polish kits may/may not do that trick. Is that safe? Thanks!

I don't know if that's worth doing. Buying a new bezel is probably cheaper. If I were in your shoes though, I'd just remove it (see my guide by clicking on my display in the specs) and just paint it. Cheap, easy, and prevents scratching/fingerprints in the future.

I just read through your tutorial, thanks for that! Although I'm not too comfortable removing the bezel, even though it looks pretty simple (I couldn't even remove my keyboard... lol). Thanks though!

If you click on my RAM, I also did a tutorial on how to remove the keyboard. The bezel removal procedure, I can literally do with one hand and my eyes closed. Well maybe not my eyes closed because I might poke my screen with the screw driver, but if there was no screen, I can do it. It's that easy.

Haha I'll take your word for it! I might have to try that sometime... these scratches/scuffs/whatever are still kinda bugging me... What do you mean by paint? Like some black paint touch-up?

Scuff the entire thing evenly then spray it matte black or gloss --one or two, even layers. Then you can put one layer of clear or just leave it be. It's pretty easy. If there are parts you want to remain as is, just tape it.

Oh ok, I see what you mean, thanks. If I don't want to paint it, do you happen to know if Sager would send a replacement bezel? I'm not sure they even have replacement bezels haha... If not I can live with it as is, or attempt to remove it and paint it like you suggested.

Contact Mythologic. I think I remember someone who broke theirs and Mythologic was able to offer a replacement for cheap.

Sweet, thanks. Does it matter that I bought the laptop through XoticPC though?

It doesn't matter because you're buying a part. You're not exchanging anything. But if you want to hit up XoticPC first, then do that.

Oh ok I see. Alright I'll probably just contact Mythlogic if I decide I want it replaced. Thanks for all your help!

Yeah, so would I... It would look so much nicer.
