    Replace CMOS battery M860 TU

    Hello guys.

    I have problem with my clevo. When its not on adapter everytime when i shut it down/start it up time and date is reseted. Im guessing its cousing dead cmos battery.

    If u think its this problem, may u tell me how to replace it because i didnt find it on Mboard. if anybody can make a picture and post it i will be appreciat.

    It is on the top of the motherboard (under the palmrest area). You will need to considerably disassemble the unit to get to it. Service manual in my sig.

    Try to measure the voltage of the battery before you replace it. If it looks ok, then maybe it just wasn't making good contact and if you re-seat it, then it might work again.

    thx for advice, i just change battery... works with no problems at all...
