    Hi, i want to replace My LCD screen with a brand new Led 1920x1200.
    It's compatible with My notebook?

    Who have ever change this screen? There is a guide for replace this LCD?

    Its not compatible, as your screen is a dual-CCFL screen, its not setup for a LED screen so no they aren't compatible.

    There is a possibility to replace the panel with some other more powerful in terms of brightness and contrast?

    Why do you need this replacement? You have excellent screen!
    I don't think you will find something better than Chi Mei N184H4-L04.

    Because have very low brightness!!
    compared to an Acer or Sony vaio are superior to mine! when I'm in a place where there is a little light I can barely see what I do on the screen!

    hm, could it be that ud just need to replace ur ccfl light sources? maybe theyre just used up :)

    iirc the x8100 still had a 16:10 screen as opposed to 16:9. several years back that was actually the predominant size with 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 resolutions being the norm.

    no, m980nu/x8100 normally were with 16:9 18.4” Full HD (1920x1080) TFT LED LCD
