    Hello all,

The AC adapter for my NP9150 is on the verge of dying. I'm looking to find a replacement adapter but I'm not having any luck. Its a 180 W adapter with a 5.5mm x 2.5mm tip.

The original one is made by FSP but their equivalent 180 W adapter available has the four pin connector instead of the barrel connector. They have another with a barrel connector but it is the wrong size.

I've tried contacting the original reseller (Xotic) but have yet to hear back.

Has anyone has any experience getting a replacement adapter? I have seen a few ASUS 180W adapters with the same tip and I assume these will work, but I'd rather see if there is a better way first.

Make sure the amperage is equal to or greater than your previous brick, and most important, make absolutely sure the input and output voltages are the same.

I have found the FSP one on ebay, there are also good quality ones from the likes of delta.

Shoot me a PM with your order info. It's possible our service team is just backed up waiting to hear about availability from Sager if you reached out to them. I'll try to get a quick response for you.

Thanks for the offer Derek, but I already got a reply. I actually hadn't been waiting long, and the response I got was pretty prompt. I sent it in the middle of the night so I made the post before anyone would have been awake. The guy pointed me towards where I could purchase them directly from Sager. A bit steep price though.

From my looking on ebay, the FSP ones were either with the wrong connector (4 pin, or a too large barrel connector) or a third-party remake. The third party ones actually seemed pretty legit though.

Did look into Delta and found a 180 watt supply...not sure about the connector as it wasn't mentioned or listed on their spec page. Probably could figure it out easily with a little investigation.

Thanks everyone for the help! I had a panic last night with my adapter failing and wasn't having any luck then looking for replacements.
