    Hello,

I am looking for a vendor to sell me a replacement CPU fan DFS501105FR0T FG5B for XMG P505. A seller who can send it via international normal air mail (not ups/fedex).

Also, I need to know whether the CPU fan only is OK to replace or do I need to replace the full CPU/Heatsink module.

    Thanks!

The XMG P505 (Clevo P651SE) is still a relatively new machine, are you sure the warranty expired?

It might be better to tell us which country do you live in, so we can give better suggestions.

Have you contacted XMG at all? They may be able to either sell you one or provide one under warranty depending on your warranty status?

nonick contacted us in September last year to have a replacement keyboard and CPU fan arranged, however due to issues I won't go into now the arrangements were cancelled and the keyboard and fan were not dispatched. As such I suspect that nonick is looking elsewhere for the parts and doesn't want us to supply them.

You could try the standard DFS501105FR0T fan and hacking it into place, I can see a few listings on ebay.

The heatsink can be left as it is assuming the metal itself is not damaged.

Why don't you contact to XMG first? I do believe XMG provide at least 2 years warranty for their product.

90% is he has to send the laptop to XMG instead of get the spare parts only while contact XMG. :D.
