Unfortunately, the screen on my Sager NP8130 just got broken the other day. I had the glossy 1920 x 1080 95% color gamut screen, and I would like to keep something of similar quality. I have had a look around, but the screens I found were out of stock. They were also a lot cheaper than the quote I got from support. They told me a replacement screen would be $390, while I found some for about $100. I am not sure if they were legitimate or not though.

Does anyone have any recommendations for what screen to purchase as a replacement, and where I can purchase it?

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I believe this is the screen I had: AUO B156HW01 V.7. Also, I had noticed a lot of red ghosting on this monitor. It was especially noticeable when having bright objects on dark backgrounds moving quickly, so if someone does have an alternative screen I am open to suggestions.

Some of those reviews are for different sellers, I also saw them and various listings for the same.

As the item states though, reach out to the seller and ask specifically if that is the model of it.
You have nothing to risk on Amazon as if it's not as described you can return for full refund.

Yeah, I suppose I don't have much to risk, but I don't really want to go through that hassle of having to return a screen that isn't right and all. Most of them even admit that it is not truly that screen if you look into it. Thanks for mentioning it though. I will take a look around Amazon some more.

They do seem to have quite a good selection. Seems that the one I need is out of stock though... I emailed them to see if they might get it back in... they do have some cheaper alternatives though. Thanks!

They're out of stock on the matte, but appear to have the glossy. Perhaps you can contact them to find out when/if they will be receiving any more of the matte in.

Just leave them a webnote on their site, they are very quick and helpful, sometimes post on here too.

I actually did leave them a message the other day. They said they should be back in stock with 6-8 weeks, if I don't find something sooner I can probably make do just using an external monitor until then.

They're a good source, and you never know; they may get an early shipment. Good luck!
