Hello, I have a Clevo W230ST (13" laptop) and I made the mistake of ordering with the wireless killer 1103. I have also windows 7 x64 in this laptop. Image here: http://imgur.com/2NxtFBl

This wireless card is a big piece of sh*t which has given me a lot of trouble with connectivity issues. I have tried everything, drivers from a lot of companies, and I reached some stability for an 8 months period, but today. The problems returned and I cannot even keep a connection for 3 minutes.

So, I have made up my mind to replace with another piece of hardware, and there is where my question goes. Which wireless card will give me the major stability among the others (I really don't care anymore about options to sniff or similar, just a piece of hardware that works.

I have been thinking about the Intel 6300 as I have seen it has 3 antennas and everyone said that is incredible stable. On the other hand, here in Spain it seems a little hard to get and I have seen a store that has this options:
    Intel® Dual Band WLAN-AC 7265 M.2,
    Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260,
    Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 bulk
I have no idea about their stability either.

I have to say that I will order whatever you recommend me more even if I need to buy from Madagascar. Also that the killer n1103 has 3 antennas but my laptop has only installed two (So I probably need to buy and figure out how to install the third one if I got the 6300. And that the space for the mini pci is quite short like 2.5 or 3 cm.

In conclusion: Which new wireless card PCIe mini, (2,5/3cm) shall I buy?

It's a PCIe half-length slot, so either the 7260 or 3160 (larger won't fit; no room to spare). Have a 7260 in my W230SS; works fine. Also twice the theoretical maximum 802.11ac speed vs. the 3160 (dual vs. single stream).

For the 6300's 3rd antenna you'd first need to buy one, of course, and then route it underneath the lcd (or tuck it somewhere in the case). Does entail removing the display bezel and lcd.

    edit:
Just to make sure; connectivity issue is present on other networks as well?

Not today, but I have been living abroad for a long period, I always assumed it was a problem of the other networks but... my mobile phone works fine with the same wifi network, and also others computers. So I can say I have been connected at least to 4 network, and in all of them the connectivity issue has appeared, but today is just ridiculous, I have troubles each 3 minutes, and my android phone, my wp8, kindle and ipad works perfectly.

Sounds like a dying card then ... well, the AC 7260's cheap enough. In the mean time; disconnect one of the antenna cables and keep only " Main". Will disable double channel, but also lessen load on the card by quite a bit, hopefully keeping it running for more than a few minutes ...

In a try to solve, I have unistalled the original drivers, and install windows 10 Technical Preview because I have read that Windows generic drivers are more stable, and... they are. Now I get limited connection each 20 minutes instead of three but I don't think is a good solution.

So, I think I am going to buy a intel 7260 double channel AC and hope all my problems are solved.

It's the card I have been using for a while, it seems to vary router by router which cards behave best.
