Hey folks, I have a Clevo W110ER that I purchased used a while back, it was originally purchased from pcspecialist but I imagine the warranty is long gone.

The left click button on the touchpad seems damaged, it has fallen downwards slightly and doesn't spring back like it should do. The touchpad itself also seems faulty, the left hand side of the touchpad works fine, however the right hand side of the touchpad seems to not work properly (triggering two finger scrolling or just not working at all)

The tl;dr is that I want to replace the touchpad, and the left mouse button, which probably means the entire touchpad assembly.

So what I am after is some information on replacing these components, I'm reasonably comfortable with taking it apart and replacing whatever needs replacing, I'm just not sure where to get the parts from, or which parts I actually need.

Edit: The rubber feet have all fallen off and been lost too, and there is some damage to the bottom cover, so a replacement bottom cover would be great

    Thanks folks :)

Thats going to be a tough part to find sold by itself. Even though your warranty may be over you should contact them anyway to see if they can get you one.

Does XoticPC have any of these parts available? I'd happily pay.

Apart from that, I will contact pcspecialist tomorrow and see if they'd be willing to sell me the parts

We dont here, we get all our parts directly from Sager and they will only sell parts if the computer were originally purchased from them.

I spoke to pcspecialist, and they told me that they have no spares, and the manufacturer service centre does not have any spares either, and that "Spares for the W110ER just do not exist anymore" :(

Open to suggestions, maybe I can find a broken W110ER somewhere and harvest it for parts.

Please be aware that clevoweb is using the "Clevo" name without consent from Clevo, so they won't be puchasing parts directly - this would suggest that they buy from the official service center in the UK which is Goldestar Computer (as MrDJ confirmed). So if PCS say that the service center doesn't have the part then neither will clevoweb.

You may unfortunately be out of luck, but I'll find out if our UK office has anything available for you :)

Reporting in so anyone who searches/googles this thread gets an answer

Took a while to get hold of them, but finally got hold of Golden Star computers and they said they have the parts in stock. Ordered them today shipping tomorrow. Pricing was a little bizarre (£10 for the touchpad, £15 for the bottom case which is just a chunk of plastic) but still reasonable anyway. All is well :)
