SAGER NP7856 (CLEVO NH58RDQ)
Can't find anything online about this. Looks like in the pictures below that the screen is held in at all 4 corners by nothing more than pressure. I have tried to apply a little pressure to remove but it doesn't have much give. I just want to see if I can find an answer before breaking something.
Oh also the two light gray tabs in each corner seem to be softer than plastic, which again makes me think they are suppose to have some give as well. The copper looking ribbon coming under the screen at the bottom screws does not appear to be connected to the actual screen, at least I don't think so.
Thanks for the help.

I think that's exactly what you need to do.
You should check the service manual here:

needless to say there is no physical damage on the outside of the laptop or inside...and i just mean no cracks or sign of a physical contact with another surface (which simply wouldn't make sense anyway if it's colliding with pillow cushions). however, in the top right corner when the screen is off you can't feel them, but you can see these spider web cracks in the screen (below). still, even with the bezel off there is no sign of disruption or any type of misalignment from the screen's position that i can tell (also a picture of the area near the spidering). i guess the (blunt?) force simply caused this resulting interaction. but based on what you have just explained, it seems there should have been more give in these rubber bumpers to keep this from happening. i've heard of some people dropping laptops from waist high on hard floors and nothing happened, so a similar distance lateral toss onto pillows, even repeatedly, seems unusual to completely render a screen useless, at least that's what i tend to think.
appreciate any feedback on this portion of my post as well as proper instructions on the replacement screen install.Attached Files:

I suppose then look at the schematic in Appendix A? if you don't see any screws maybe the LCD is glued to the back panel ? Some laptops are like that. -
Anyone else? -

I don't have access to the service manuals directly but if the screen is damaged anyway just lever it out, it either has screws on the side or not.

I just went at it and turns out it's just held in by some type of 2 sided thin tape against some rubber backing 2 inches long in each corner. Any idea where I can find some electrical tape that is double sided? That's basically all it seems to be.

Amazon and the like is usually the best bet for that sort of thing.
