    Hi there,

I'm a newbie to over clocking...

How to you go about over clocking the GTX680M?

Do you need to download additional software?

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks

Basic overclocking just needs MSI afterburner.

I don't think so I used both, I use afterburner now because of the recording function. they both get the job done. the best program IMO is nvidia inspector. really lightweight and just works

Well unless you have certain bios revisions. None of them will let you overclock more as such but I too like inspector for its monitoring.
