If I buy a sager np 2096 from xotic or powernotebooks and when I get it I notice that it didn't lived up to my expectations can I then return it and get a refund? If so, can I get a full refund? I am talking about like within a week from that I get it.

I think I will be satisfied but you never know right :)

Yup, that's normal Sager policy - The full satisfaction guarantee. You can return your notebook within 1 month after it's sent to you, for a FULL refund, less shipping charges.

    I believe Sager has a 30 day guarantee, not a 15 day one. :)

I had some very, very small scratches on the back on my screen that Sager demanded $210 back for. They could only be seen if pointed out and in the right light. I didn't even know they were there when I checked my system over before I sent it back..

    Hi folks,

@ Nirvana ... why would XoticPC cover "emike" on the scratches!!! Did he have the Extended Service or something?

@ emike ... Is it possible that Scratches were there when you got the laptop at the 1st place!?!?
The reason that I say that is because when I got my laptop from Sager I could have sworn that it might have been an "Open Box" ... someone else's return ... since the metal portion where the power button was ... di dnot have plastic cover on it ... and it did not look brand spanking new.

    G! :)

Well i dont know if the 5796 is any different, but the power button place did not have any coverings either for mines. Also the protective covering thing was a bit off, but remember that the sager techs tested your laptop so thats why it might looked "used". Mines had some fingerprints on the cover of the screen, and some smudges where the hand rest was.
