The newer chips do need a lower programming voltage than the older ones but with someone else doing it, it's hard to advise.

In which case a new chip and a dump on it would fix it.

Now you need to restore the BIOS of the video card using the programmer, you need to fill in your original BIOS of the video card. Can you log into the OS using the embedded video core in the processor?

The card is still picked up by the system, but he just has error 43 issues. Nvflash should flash back to the original vbios fine if he could get a hold of the bios image.

If you still get an image using your internal GPU (on the intel CPU) then you can still use NVflash to program a new file.

i can use my intel graphics but my NVFlash keeps on giving error. the only way to go past that is to use a -4 -5- 6 command that the newer versions of NVflash (those that support RTX) do not have anymore. I guess that's what's holding it now.

I do not have original one anymore, and i could find no one else in this forum with my same model :(

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/216348/216348 The fact is that you have a video card without G-sync initially and must have id 1E90, and you are trying to fill in vbios from a card with G-sync whose id is 1ED0. On 20 series cards, the id is embedded in the firmware of the gpu chip, and if another id is recorded in the BIOS, the card is blocked by software and will not display an image. So you need to fill in the bios with id 1e90, the one that I posted as a link is fine for you, it is from MSI Titan but also Max-q. Alternatively, you can use the vbios from Clevo rtx2080 with id 1e90 150w tdp, I think it will work fine too. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/219831/219831

Many thanks for the links. I will try this over the weekend and see if it works at all. Will report my results here with screenshots.
I cant recall anymore which ones i tried before and failed. Someone said that the vbios had to be from the same SKU, which I couldnt find on any forum.

What NVflash version would you like me to use?

EDIT: I just realised that this is the Sager/Clevo sub-forum. My issue is for an ASUS Rog Zephyrus S.

I realized that your laptop is not Clevo, but Asus, but that doesn't make much difference. All vbios are basically the same and will work on different laptop models and manufacturers, you just need to pay attention to id, GPU and video memory frequencies.
