    Hi guys

So my computer is running very hot even after I applied new thermal paste and clean out all the dust from the fan so I don't know what is wrong? Also I can't play any games because my computer constantly crash and instead of crashing and go to task manager or return to desktop the computer blink 3 times on the left hand size with the 3 lock sign next to the power button for a few second and then my whole computer turn off. I'm really worry and I don't know what to do. This shouldn't happen.

    Thanks

I'd like to help you, but you have given me unsufficient information. Provide the following, please:
    - ambioent temperature (the temperature in the room where you use the laptop)
    - internal temperature (CPU, GPU, PCH)
    - fan speed (there is no way to measure it, but do you hear it spin up loudly, or is it working slow)
    - how did you apply the termal paste, how much did you put on, are you sure you applied it correctly, are the heatsinks touching the surface of the chips firmly?
    - send pictures if you can (temperature screenshots, CPU and GPU usage graphs, pics from the internals, anything)
    - how is the laptop placed, on what surface? Did you try lifting the back side 4-5cm from the floor? Do you have a laptop cooler?

We can solve it with more info

Also, I'm guessing the system in question is the Lotus P150HM in your signature. Is that right? If not, please provide us with some specs. :)

If you're seeing more heat now after redoing the thermal compound most likely it wasnt done right. You may have applied too little or too much, also check the heatsinks to make sure they were tightened back right and sitting on the GPU/CPU properly. What type of thermal compound did you use, and which application method did you use.

You got the dust out of the fans, but did you unclog the copper heatsink vents?
