Suddenly I have to press really hard on the S key or else the input will register maybe 1 out of 5 times at best. Is this fixable?

I really can only be fixed by getting a new keyboard. The only solution beyond that is to make sure nothing has gotten stuck under the key which is not allowing a full depression so it registers you pushed it.

Is it possible to just pop the key off like your usual scissor keyboard? I've removed the entire keyboard in the past for cleaning but couldn't separate the keys

UPDATE: Turns the out the key was just loose. I pressed it extra hard on all corners and it seems to be working fine now. Although I'd still like to know if it's possible to remove the keys and clean under them
