I have a SAGER NP9130/CLEVO P151EM1 game laptop.
The GPU is still working but it does not perform as before.
Tried different Benchmark and it crashes every time followed by
uniform beeps, fans revving up and eventually shutdown
It has a NVIDIA GeForce 670M with 1.5 GB - N13E-GS1-LP
There is a GPU for sale from a MSI laptop.
MSI Nvidia GTX 670M 3GB N13E-GS1-LP-A1
Would the MSI GPU be compatible with my SAGER NP9130.
Thanks for any help.

Getting a Clevo card would be ideal (maybe not the price). MSI cards are hit or miss, from what I've read, and you would need to flash the vBIOS on it. -

Sounds like your current GPU is on its way out. Hit up @woodzstack - he should be able to provide you with a replacement, or maybe even an upgrade that would be compatible.

Thank you all.

How much does that gtx670m cost?
I've fitted a MSI GTX1060 into my p170em(np9170) back in march and it works. If you're doing it then might aswell consider an upgrade. -
For Billy2789:
1. "I've fitted a MSI GTX1060 into my p170em(np9170) back in march and it works. If you're doing it then might aswell consider an upgrade."
I own a P170EM and i also want to replace my old GTX680m with a 1060m, if it is an good upgrade.
What exactly type of card did you use? Can you post some pictures with it? Did you made some physical (on heatsink, motherboard, vga card and case) or other BIOS modifications for it?
2. In your notebook specs i see: 90% gamut screen. Is that an AUO B173HW01 v4? If that's it, how did you make it to display accurate colours: you tweaked it by eye from the Intel display settings or you are using a colour profile generated by a professional calibrator?
Thank you.Last edited: Jun 28, 2017
