I have the bios enabled for this feature... It has been through a few cycles of charging etc, since I just got it.
Now, with this feature on, do I just keep laptop plugged in? Settings are 40% to 90% charge.
When laptop is off, will it just charge to 90% and then stop? Or is it a trickle charge that will keep battery there?
I searched on this feature, and didnt see how it is actually used by others.
As I sit here, the percent is at 45% and shows plugged in, but hasnt charged in over an hour. Is that what it does, uses plugged in power while plugged in, but charges when off?

For the thresholds you set, the laptop is going to start charging once the battery level drops below 40%; it will then charge to 90% and stop. As long as the battery levels are above the minimum set threshold, the laptop won't charge.

So just keep it plugged in and it runs off of brick and outlet vice battery. Interesting how they programmed this to work this way.

Sony do something similar with their phones. It's all around battery chemistry.
