    Hey guys,
I have a Sager NP8651 laptop and last week my screen started to flicker when tilted at certain angles so I contacted sager and ordered a new lcd cable. After replacing the cable my screen no longer flickers and is stable at all angles but the screen is now very dark. I am assuming this is the back light and am wondering if it is just a bad cable they sent me or if I need to replace my back light. Thanks guys any insight into the issue is appreciated.

I assume you have tried brightness etc?

Reseat the new cable you got - both at the monitor and at the board. If it's still no good, I would say contact Sager again - but only if you have poor brightness with the old LCD cable as well.
