Hi,
In a few months more I will fly to the states in order to buy my NP9260. I can not take any chances that after a few days I would find a problem and I will have to pay very very $$ expensive to send it back to the sates or UK. Also since I live outside the states I can not use the warranty, because it will cost me more to send the machine for repair.
As a reference I live in France and a SAGER/CLEVO are very very expensive, the exchange rate EURO -> DOLLAR is a much much better option for me.
I am wondering if the SAGER dealers perform a core test in order to warranty no surprises on every machine?
Regards,

you can purchase the Clevo D900C (a.k.a. Sager 9260, Pro-Star 9191) in the UK.
Contact www.rockdirect.com, they are a great Clevo reseller in Europe. Its not on their site yet, but I am very confident that it will be soon.
Also check out other resellers in the Clevo Guide -
I already went to the whole CLEVO guide and price wise the US is the best option. If I want to buy from ROCKDIRECT I have to pay pounds and that will cost me ALOT. I earn euros not pounds. The ROCKDIRECT prices are far far away from the sager ones.

Sager tests and burns in each machine before they ship them. However there is always a tiny percentage (less than 1%
that have issues upon arrival.

Warranty wise ,If I buy have a SAGER machine. Am I able to contact my region service CLEVO center and request to repair my SAGER machine? Is it a SAGER machine cover by the CLEVO warranty by default?

Sager laptops are shipped directly from the Sager factory so we never see them.
If you buy a Sager you need to rely on the Sager warranty, not Clevo, so should you have any warranty issues you would have to ship it back to Sager and pay for shipping both ways.
Bottom line...when in Europe, buy in Europe. -
In Australia ,a clevo with the same specs cost around 1500AUD more expensive
Then it would be cheaper to just ship the notebook to the US and back and still save money

I use the Clevo Guide as a reference for my research of the CLEVO dealers in Europe, They are a few but the prices are very very high. I live in France and there are a few CLEVO dealers, but again the prices are very high.
As a reference I am computer science engineer and I work in a microelectronic company, so I feel comfortable with all the microelectronic environment, board replacement ( as long as I have some docs or ref. info.).
Since I do know anything about CLEVO or SEGER architecture. I was wondering how hard is to have access to the core components(mother board, peripherals, CPU, GPUS, etc), in case that I have to send a bad component back (instead of the whole laptop)?. Is SEGER cool enough to accept that or do they force you to send back the whole laptop and been checked by "There qualify Techniciens".
If I buy my 9690 from powernotebooks. Does powernotebooks would help me to go through this paint full journey ? -
You can fix your own notebook, as long as you do not break it is doing so, then its fine. But if an accident occurs, the warranty would be voided.
I am comfortable and confident with fixing my notebook, of which I built and have yet to have any serious hardware issues that would warrant me to get it RMA'ed. -

1. Sager will not allow you to repair it yourself and return the bad part for replacement. You would have to send your laptop back to them.
2. If you do attempt to fix it yourself and you break something, it doesn't void your warranty, but your warranty will not cover repairing what you broke.
3. Due to the high cost and extra time it takes to ship it back and forth from outside the USA we strongly recommend not purchasing from the USA if you live outside the USA. In addition, PowerNotebooks.com will not ship outside the USA at all, so for warranty returns we will only ship to a USA address, and your agent would then have to ship to you. Sager will ship outside the USA for repair returns, but you have to wire transfer the funds for shipping, and any out of warranty repairs, which is yet another expense to consider.
