I am just wondering if anyone has any info from their respective resellers as to when the SLI will be functional in the 9262 or its rebrand.

For me, PCMW has said they "hope" to be shipping next week. Which probably means 2 weeks from now.

At this time sager will temporarily stop accepting NP9262 pre-orders with SLi configurations, a special package of end-user self install SLi kit will be available for $695 for a limited time for customer that has purchased Sager NP9262 with single nVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX graphics card.

imagine they never get thier act together and we never get SLI, or next gen comes around by the time they figure it out.

its not Clevo (or their vendors).... its on Nvidia's shoulders to release the mobile 8800M GTX SLI drivers.

The beta drivers are around, but Sager and most vendors want stable/final release drivers before selling the second 8800M GTX card.

But again, SLI will not help for every game, only the games that are programmed to utilize them... for instance, Crysis did not support SLI until the 1.1 patch.

No dexgo, that is not true at all. nVIDIA has been working with Clevo for the last several months getting the drivers to work for SLi.

Sager just announced they anticipate shipping to begin the week of March 24th (that doesn't necessarily mean ON the 24th, but sometime that week) and they have reopened pre-orders for the NP9262 with SLi today.

That of course means that PCMW won't begin shipping until sometime after Sager does.
