I have a SSD and a HDD, and I have them installed into my laptop, but I only see the SSD(local disk C). How do I get my laptop to display my HDD? I went to the BIOS, and I can see both drives, but I don't have access to the HDD. I am in AHCI(is this right?) setup. Also, I see both SSD and HDD in the device manager, but in my computer, I only see local disk C, which is the SSD. Thanks.

assuming you're in windows 7, go to start menu, right click on computer and select "manage", look on the left and go to storage, select disk management and look for your hdd there, if it is there it might be "unallocated' you will have to right click and format it to see in the computer.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did as you did, and indeed, it is marked as Unallocated. But I don't see the format option. When I right click on Disk 1, I get the option to "convert to dynamic disk.." and convert to GPT disk" and when I right click on the box with the word "Unallocated" I get "New simple volume" "Properties" and "Help". What do I do?
