Hi, i wondering if buying a universal laptop charger for my W860CU from eBay for only around $15 would be safe for charging. Im also wondering what size connection tips and the minimum wattage i need for the W860CU. And also any other thing i must know when looking at a compatible PSU?

There are very few to choose from because you need 19v, 6.3A minimum. The connector is 2.5/5.5mm. If you find one on eBay, post it here and someone will be able to tell you. I bought my 180w adapters off eBay, and I've had no problems with them.

The tip connections don't look that solid, but it should provide enough power. If it were me, I would keep looking, but that's just me.

Buy OEM please. Lots of stories of overheating chargers that are non-oem. They do pose a safety-risk.

Here's a brand name one that would work.
