I've been thinking about buying a laptop since before Ivy Bridge and Kelper technology was released and I think I've settled on the NP9170 with a 7970m.

I think I've read that most people are having success right out of the box. I am a little worried because of all the issues people are having with drivers. I'd be loading my own copy of Windows 7. Are people experiencing any problems loading 7970m drivers after installing their own copy of Win7? I imagine there should be no difference but I'm hoping people can shed some light on it.

    Thanks.

I haven't had any problems. Install from CD and install in the order they're listed in, restart when prompted, and you shouldn't have too many issues.
