I'm (still) shopping for a laptop that will last me around 3-4 years while handling current games. I've taken a look at the Gateways, HPs, etc etc that are loads cheaper with the "same" specifications but the only thing i question is "reliability." From my understanding, Sager is built like a rock (not Levono-rock, but close.)

Are these laptops worth the extra cash?

To be honest i was never into to laptops, but i work overseas and i move around alot so having a desktop was just not practical. So i started doing alot of research and looking around for a laptop that would suit my gaming/workinf needs. I compared a lot of notebooks from various other retailers. I started off looking at Alienware, Dell, Toshiba etc. Then i googled a few other odds and ends and the name Sager keep popping up so i did a bit of investigating. Then i ran into one of my co-workers out here who had a NP9260. After that seeing was believing. My NP9262 is built like a brick wall. Very solid, heavy but for the amount of power it has under the hood in my opinion it is a good trade off.

These machines depending on what you are looking for and you own personal needs are worth every penny. But go and compare prices for similar spec'ed machine and Sager's will usually cost you much less for much more bang for your buck.
