    **Updated August 27th, 2007**

I have been to the Clevo/Sager/Eurocom/Prostar websites and they do not have any CURRENT version drivers for Vista. I am hoping to provide a list of links to manufacturer/reliable website driver pages that us Sager owners can simply click on to check/download the latest driver versions for Vista. I want to keep my drivers updated as bugfixes and tweaks continue improving the performance and stability of Vista.

I am NOT linking directly to the file (unless otherwise noted). Rather, I am linking to the source page so you can choose to download whichever version you want. Click on a link to see what I mean.

I have found the big names, but am struggling with the manufacturer/brand of some of the lesser-known hardware components. Please help fill in the gaps any way you can! If we all contribute, our Vista machines will be on the leading edge of performance and stability!

I will maintain/update this list when I can.

Good work; thanks for trying to cut through the confusion.

After assembling the latest Vista 64-bit drivers by hand from a variety of sources, I can state with confidence that running Vista on an M570U leaves much to be desired. Stable video drivers, for instance. And performance. And usability.

Still a sad state of affairs for this OS. If I wasn't compelled to use it for some of my work, I'd stay away entirely until SP1. My solution for the interim? I'm running Vista on a virtual machine. Didn't even give it the benefit of a dual-boot. :)

Thanks for the info on the chipset. I updated the link!

I am trying to gather the manufacturer website links, if possible. There is really no way to know if the Sager/Eurocom/Prostar/Clevo links provide the newest driver releases. I will include links to all of these pages at the bottom of the post, however.

    Thanks Gophn!

i think the LAN drivers are either already detected by Windows (Windows Update), or you can just force the XP drivers to work.

The LAN drivers are autodetected. However, if you click on the link provided above you will be redirected to the Realtek driver download page. You need to click on the first option (Vista 64-bit and Vista). The "Vista" is the 32-bit version of the drivers.

I can highly recommend the TweaksRUs nvidia driver. It had adapter scaling for games like BF2 that don't support widescreen and it seems to outperform the video driver on the sager site (I think anyway). So far I haven't had any issues with it.

Has anyone found a Vista 32-bit driver for the display? I'm not talking about the GPU but the flat panel itself. Or is the intergrated vista driver all thats out there?

Hmm...good question. I don't know the manufacturer of the flat panel. If anyone knows, post it up. I'll do some digging and see what I can find.

I take this comment back, for just over a week it was working fine but then the wavy lines like in the early xp drivers appeared. Has anyone with a 7900gtx 512mb found any drivers with adapter scaling that are stabe of the 5760?

This link is already included at the bottom of the initial thread under the "Manufactuer" section. The link is called "Sager".

    Thanks for the info though.
