I was lurcking around a few thread about the overheating problem pertaining to sager laptops. I know that Sager 5760 uses mobile cpu, so I don't think that is a issue, but I'm worried about its power gpu. Did anybody have problems with sager 5760 in regards to gpu temp?? or system temp??.
I'm about to pull a trigger on this when the promotion goes on! Thank you for reading :)

The temps for the Clevo M570U are very good, since the thermal design is top-notch.

    Read the reviews first:

The CPU temps never get past 55C degrees from my tests.
The GPU is VERY cool, it never seems to go past 75-80C degrees at full load. (my D900K floats around 90C degrees at load, so the design improved)

The great thing about these Clevo gaming notebooks, its that they are made to prevent overheating with the Fan Toggle (Fn + F2), which switches the fans from AUTO to MAX SPEED. its awesome for a gaming notebook.

Just did these measurements this week-
Going to do some more with my new Zalman cooler and see what diff it makes.
Surprisingly, I saw the highest temps when at idle before the main/gpu fan kicked in on auto. Which i guess means the fan is there for a reason, eh? :p
Also, the small fan seems to be completely useless... Temps continued to climb several degrees even when the little fan was spinning. This makes me wonder what it really does.
Temps measured with Notebook Hardware Control and RivaTuner (+200 C adjustment).

    All Temps in Celsius
    Room temp ~ 19.8

    on table
    Code:
    STATE CPU	HDD	GPU (approx)
    idle no fans 43	36	68
    idle small fan on	48	37	75
    idle fans auto 30	36	49
    idle fans high 28	32	44

    load fans auto 49*	45	55
    load fans high 45**	42	50

    Game
    3dmark06 fans auto	51	40	69
    3dmark06 fans high	47	36	63
    Notes
The small fan is the one in the center of the bottom. I think it's near the ram...

    IDLE
small fan kicked in when cpu temp reached 43.
Main/GPU fan kicked in when GPU hit 75.

    LOAD
prime95 inplace FFTs (max heat and power consump), superpi 32M, winamp shuffle w/ milkdrop window, O&O defrag full, firefox browsing wireless on
*cpu temp fluctuated 44-49. see pics
**cpu temp fluctuated 40-45. see pics

    Game
I managed to get the GPU to hit 72 for a second while playing Tomb Raider Legend on the highest possible settings, with fans on auto. But it was under a second and the rest of the time it was 68-69.

    Nice temp post Elminst. :)

I like those GPU temps compared to mine [7800GTX in Clevo D900K]... 90C degrees for Oblivion, C&C3, CoH, etc.. whew!! makes ya want to sweat.

Yeah i'm pretty happy with them. ;)
And if you didn't notice, my GPU is overclocked by 70/76 MHz. And the temps are still well under control.

I am still confused about what the little center fan actually does. It kicks in when the CPU hits around 43C, but the temps still rise until the main fan kicks on.

    (can i get some rep rep? :D :p )
