I could swear that I had seen a post somewhere that had a parts manual for the Sager 5790 or 5791. I am interested in getting ahold of one BEFORE I attempt to do anything with my 5791. Can someone hook me up with it? I am specifically looking for disassembly instructions.

    Thanks,

    John

Thats a rather new notebook, are you sure you want to take it apart? :)

Unfortunately, they usually keep those manuals under lock and key (too many instances of people sending in a box of parts to be reassembled.) The sager 5791 is really a Clevo M570RU, so you can probably find a disassembly manual by searching for that model. If you list specifically what you are trying to remove, I may be able to help you.

imo, that's not a real disassembly manual
it covers some things, but definitely not all of them

also, this manual you could have located yourself by simply going to the Clevo website :p

there's nothing there about either CPU and GPU, the 2 things I'd be interested in
it covers only HDD, RAM and DVD, the three things that are the easiest to upgrade ^^
