    I just bought a Sager 5793.
    Core 2 duo T9300 2.5
    2GB RAM
    100GB 7200 rpm HD
    GeForce 8800GTX/512MB
    XP PRO

I know that there is a extra vent in the 3 that the 2 doesn't have.
    Pictures here.
    Why?
From the pictures I guess it was a overheating/cooling problem.
Was there a reason for the change? A problem or something.
Just curious really. Did a search and couldn't find anything.
    Thanks!

THe reason is to support the overclocking of Extreme Procs.

Okay...And I got the 2.5 which isn't an extreme processor.

Will it help my current setup at all?

    It won`t.
That extra vent is in case you need an extra fan for the Extreme Cpus. So far, a 3rd fan was not required, but the setup is there, just in case.
