Hi, I have an issue with my audio on my sager. No sound seems to be coming out of the speaker but if I plug headsets or speakers it works fine. Plus when I insert the jack only midway in the audio input, the speakers of the computer works fine. Also, the computer is detecting when a jack is inserted and when it's removed, but when I insert it only midway it doesn't detect anything but the sound works on the speakers...
So you guys have any idea what might be the problem?
    Thank you.

Your thread seems to be about the headphone jack, mine is working fine. What I would like to know is why no sound gets out of my computer speakers when nothing is plugged in the audio jack.

It could be that the headphone jack thinks a headphone is plugged in, or it could be you have mute on in your settings..... lots of things. What have you ruled out?

I have ruled out the mute either in window or the fn + f3, I think I can rule out the fact that the computer still thinks there is a jack plug in since it does detect when I plug a headphone, (windows tells me there is a new device) and windows also tell me it detected that the device was remove when I remove the headphone.

Im saying that the onboard speakers only works when I plug a headphone halfway in.
