Heard a crack this morning when I opened the screen; noticed that when I pulled up on one side, the screen pulled out from the chassis. Need less to say, I needed to change my underwear this morning.

Logged on to the message board, and wouldn't you know it; I'm not alone in this problem.

Just as a documentation layout for anyone else...

    Pics of broken hinge:

And a diagnostic video showing the extreme amount of flex on my screen...

Will be looking at this thread:

and keeping an eye on my own for answers..

Looked through that other link, found the service manual here, hosted by theriko in his signature:
Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire
Downloaded the M57RC_SM3 and M57RC_SM4.zip's; both were manuals for the 5793.

Looking at the M57RU_SM4.pdf on page 51; I found the part needed:
    #5 - LCD Hinge Assy R - PN: 6-33-M57A1-0A1

    Quote from the other link:

Will be calling the 626 number and will be asking for both hinge assembly's so that I don't have to worry about the other side breaking.

    The other side, btw:
    M57RU_SM4.pdf on page 51:
    #11 - LCD Hinge Assy L - PN: 6-33-M57A1-0B1

When I get the assembly's, I'll try to fix the problem personally using these instructions:
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I'll try to take pictures/video of the LCD tear down as a frame of reference for other 579x owners.
