I just put win7 x64 on my 5793, I hit Fn+F10 to try to get the webcam going on skype but it doesn't work. Skype doesn't detect it and I don't see it in the device manager.

People say use default windows drivers with the camera but the camera is not using default drivers and I'm not sure how to put them on since I don't really see the camera in device manager. I thought maybe a usb device that popped up might be in but I tried to put the windows drivers on it and it did not work.

    Any advice? Thank you.

I have the M570RU (which I believe is the same as your Sager 5793) and have the 64 bit version of Windows 7 installed. Unfortunately, the drivers for the webcam are not automatically installed by Win7 and it doesn't find them when it does the automatic search online, you have to load them yourself.

The drivers I used are for the Sertek1.3M camera, they're dated 2007/3/30, and the readme shows version 6.2164.0.02.1. This was the latest driver I found at the time, though I'm not sure where it came from. I notice that Clevo shows a more current Vista driver from 2009 on their website: CLEVO - Download but I haven't used it.

Theriko is it possible you could do me a favour and upload the driver to upload | ifile.it ? The download is not working for me.

I really appreciate it if you can do it! Thanks!
