    Sager 5793 with 8GB RAM

    Since I use Adobe Photoshop and other software in the Adobe Master Collection Series, I decided to increase my memory from 4GB to 8GB of ram.

    I took out the 4GB memory and put in the G. Skill 4096x2 ram and the bios recognized the new memory. Vista 64 seemed to load faster and Adobe certainly had a quicker feel to it.

    The best $299 upgrade I ever spent and one of the quickest upgrades as well.

    Cool. Too bad the price of laptop memory isn't the same as desktop memory. You can do 8gb of RAM for a desktop for less than $70.

    Desktops usually have 4 DIMM connectors, whereas notebooks have 2 SODIMM connectors.
