There are a number of devices that my 5796 won't power through the USB ports, one is a USB powered scanner and now my new Blackberry won't run. Anyone else have USB power issues?

there is no power issues from the M570TU that I had a chance to test.

the USB port can only power a single USB-powerable device (up to 5v) like HDDs, some kinds of MP3 players, etc..

You must also realize that its not each port that can do it, but a set of ports is connected by a USB hub....
    - so on the M570TU you can really only power 2 major USB-powerable devices
    - one on the side USB section, one on the back USB section.

As for minor USB devices like Mice and such, you can do one per port easily.
