    Is there any other place I can buy a spare cheaper than on xoticpc. There were none on ebay. Is there a way to get a smartbay battery to plop in the slot of the dvd bay?

    As far as we know, there is no possible way to plug an extra battery via a smatrbay with this notebook. Though a few have adapted bezels to incorporate a second HDD.

    You're best off going through the list of resellers in Gophn's FAQ to ask if anyone of them will sell you a battery. I also recommend getting in contact with RJTech.com as they specialise in selling Clevo-branded parts.

    you may also want to look into perhaps an external battery that plugs into the a/c port. Not sure which ones have support for the laptop plug but i've noticed they're becoming more popular

    i just need about 2.5-3 hours of batt life so i should be fine if i undervolt right? I can buy an extra batt later..wish there were some on ebay.

    I doubt you'll ever get that much but obviously there are a few tips to take up. Mone - make sure you optimise your componants well - P Class CPU, and SSD Drive etc.
