    Hi,

I'm currently waiting for my order of a NP8150-S1. Which notebook cooler should I get? I've heard good things about the Zalman, but I'm not too sure if the vents line up well. Any 8150 owners care to help me out?

    Thank you.

I highly recommend the SF-19...I'll be buying it within a week or so, and the vast majority of reviews have been positive. Plus, it comes with a USB 3.0 Hub and also has a USB 2.0 Hub version available for a little less. From Cooler Master.

A good alternative is the NZXT Cryo LX.

    Check them out :)

What are your needs? I don't like most of the flat coolers because they are still against the back of the laptop and the fans need more space to develop a proper intake.

I ended up with a $5 one that folds flat with many positions and basically is a stand and leaves all the space under the laptop empty and open. Has a cool rotation feature too. Low tech, weighs nothing, don't have to plug in USB, I don't care if I lose it or it breaks. It has worked perfectly for cooling and raising the display height and also rotates fantastically like the stands on a good LCD.

Thanks for the advice. I'll go hunting this week lol. I guess I'll go with the plainer looking one. Clevo and it's rebrands rocks in this aspect, does the job damn well without attracting attention (and thieves). Let's hope the rush order I placed will come soon.

I actually use the Bytecc NC-820 cooler for my 15" laptop and it works really well. It's a solid aluminum construction and it keeps my machine cooler for the 9 hour work shift.

Went with the SF-19 because NZXT products are close to impossible to find here in singapore. Thanks for all the help.

Can't wait for my order with Mucro.asia to come. Even paid for rush service on it!

OT: Oh wow, I ordered my 8150-S1 from Mucro as well, have you recieved yours now?

I ordered mine last May 3 I think I might get it this week or next week :(

On topic: Is the Cooler Master Notepal U2 sufficient enough for a Sager 8150-S1? When playing games like Crysis 2 and such?

WOW lots of Mucro people here. Great. See my sig.

For the record, I just use the cooler ball notebook stands, like the ones in this video: YouTube - ‪Laptop Perfect Cool Cooler Ball‬‏ There is a popular brand in challenger in singapore; i cant remember the name now and also i threw away the packaging.

Also, I use headphones + ac power while gaming. So i just go with Fn+1, cause i cant hear the fan noise.
cooler ball + (Fn+1) + heaphones + ac power is a good combination for continuous Crysis 2 gaming, with temps at 86 for GPU and 75 for CPU cores (considering Singapore ambient temps, this is great.)

Is the matte screen good? I'm starting to get a little buyer's remorse after hearing my friends gush about how much richer the colours are on a glossy screen.
