    Sager 8150 audio jack glowing red

    Does anyone else's audio-out jack constantly glow red? Is this something I should be worried about?

    I have a Sager 8150. Thanks.

    I think that's the toslink optical cable jack. It's normal.

    More specifically, the S/PDIF audio output. For fiber optic output to a receiver for stereo or Dolby DTS surround.

    Yeah thats the optical ouput. I love how it glows red :) But now I know that I can turn it off :)
