Is it confirmed whether or not the 8151 will have Optimums switchable graphics and an Ivy Bridge compatible motherboard? Furthermore, should I hold off buying the 8151 until Ivy Bridge comes out or pre-order now and buy Ivy Bridge and install it myself when it comes out?

No info either way yet. Hopefully once NDA lifts we'll know.
I'd put a pre order in now to save the $50 differed shipping savings. Once the computer comes out and you're not 100% happy with whats on there you are not obligated to the continue with the order.
