My screen seems to be loose on the top. When I press down on the top edges I can see the screen move in and out. The bottom seems to be fine. Also when I press down on the top part of the screen it makes a sticky sound. Like pulling two sticky material apart sound.

I checked the screws under the rubber cushions and they are not loose. Is it something inside that is loose?

A little bit of it is normal. The screen is just sandwiched between the two pieces of bezel that make up the lid. How much movement are you seeing with it? A bit of tape is behind the screen to hold the ribbon to the back of the LCD panel, so that could be the noise you're hearing.

If you want to check it out, you can remove the screws and pull the screen apart- just be careful not to break the clips on the bezel when pulling it apart/putting it back together.

    Thanks for the reply.

Under the cam is where it goes in the most. The top right corner moves in a little bit.

Are you sure it's somewhat normal for it to move? Because the bottom of the screen doesn't give. The upper left corner doesn't give. Only the middle top to upper right corner gives when pressure is applied.

Also the sticky sound I'm hearing, is that the tape coming loose? is it minor or a big problem to leave it as is?

It seems a bit odd that only one area has some play.

How long have you had your laptop? You may want to record a video and send it to your reseller if it is still new so they have a better idea of what is going on.

As Anthony has stated, if you want to check it out for yourself, feel free to remove the screws and pull the display but exercise caution with the clips on your bezel. It's usually best when removing them to work from left to right or right to left and go up and around.
