Hello everyone!
I just bought a Sager 8170 and I'm quite happy with (although I really miss the backlit keyboard that previous laptop had LOL)
The thing is that, and correcto if I'm mistaken, this laptop comes with 5.1 speakers built-in, but so far I haven't been able to enable 2.0 to 5.1 upmixing anywhere.
I believe the option should appear on the Realtek Control Panel just below the "Switch subwoofer- centre speakers" but in my case there's nothing else to select.
I have tried with both, Sager's drivers, and the latest Realtek (2.65) but still no luck. Anyone knows how to solve this?
thanks!

Also, for some reason I've lost the THX TruStudio capabilities... -
i`ve solved my problem by downloading the latest realtek hd s/w r2.65. now i get the fn+5 function and also have the option going 7.1 too via external speakers.
thx s/w also worked flawlessly
