This may sound like an odd problem, but I have noticed in general my new Sager 8250-s is very sluggish. Sometimes it mini freezes like it is thinking about something before it opens a browser window for instance. When I watch video I feel like it is just a little behind. If I even move the mouse the video slows down and gets all chop. If I run any sort of game it is perfect. Great frame rate and no problems.
Comparing just normal browsing, video watching, etc to my old dell i5 computer with no graphics card the sager is always sluggish. I am having trouble understand why this is so?
I have the sager plugged in, and all power settings set to 100%. I have selected to use the dedicated graphics for all my programs, itunes, firefox, etc. I have a fresh install of windows 7 on my vertex 4 SSD. Any thoughts on why my sager might be slow?

It could be a problem with the SSD or the Windows install. If you dont have too much info invested in the Windows install consider doing another clean install

Are you watching videos in-browser or in a dedicated video playing program such as VLC or MPC?
If you're using a browser, try disabling hardware acceleration.
If you're using a program, try to see if there is a hardware acceleration support, and if so, turn that off.
Sager 8250-S, sluggish in general, and sluggish in video. Games work perfect.
