I need some assistance with my device. It was working perfectly. Nothing was wrong until about 9PM January 31st, 2014 (as in yesterday).
I was over at another house and the wifi connection on my laptop started telling me there was no connections in sight. Obviously I tested the wifi there, it was working fine on my Samsung galaxy S3, my Ipad and my other tablet. The only issue was with the laptop.
I came home hoping it was just an intermittent issue with the aforementioned WIFI at the other house. It seems it was not. I reinstalled the drivers for the Realtek WLAN Card and to no avail it did not fix any issues, the problem persisted.
Now I reinstalled Windows 7, and all the drivers provided to me by the manufacturer, and still I face the issue that NO connections can be found. YET when I use an Ethernet cord it works fine.

P.S. I hope I posted this in the right section![]()

This happend to me last week on my p177sm I had a lot of trouble getting in to work again with the drivers givin to me with the PC I ended up downloading the ones from the clevo website http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/index.asp try them all one at a time and remember to delete the old driver properly through the device manager and restart each time

If you're sure the driver installed correctly and that you enabled WiFi (FN + F11), then it could be that the card needs replaced - or it could point to the antenna(e).

Having the same issue more recently, it says the device is functioning but it cannot detect any networks. The network works, other computers are using it but my computer cannot find it.

UPDATE:
I did a system restore after this happened today (not the first time, but I need to be able to use the laptop) and its back to working form, so between today 4PM and today 9PM something happens when the laptop just s itself.
Basically the only issues that arise, is improper shutdown, a USB issue and WLAN issue... -

Are you working with the service team currently? Which Member? If you could also PM your order number I can see what I can do to help you out. Our turnaround time for service inquiries should never take until Monday to hear something back so I want to make sure if there is a holdup it's getting addressed. -
First time I have ever done a restore because its the first time I knew the time frame when the issue didn't have any affect on my system.
In college, at 4PM, I installed Open Office, thats the time I rolled back to.
And I am in Contact with Barry H.
Thanks for the help -

I'll get in touch with Barry for you though. -
So its back to doing the thing where its stuck at the windows
SHUT DOWN
logo.
And this is after I booted it up after it was successfully turned off the night before. Now when I booted it up the USB mouse I use (Logitech G500s, software installed from the website) wasnt moving so I figure Ill reconnect it, USB is not working,
SO we are back to square one, I either keep resetting my system to a date where this did NOT happen, or... I dont know what to do.
