Since people can not read this issue was with Sager, not XoticPC. I was told there was a QA process yet my screen has a very noticeable flaw.

Did you pay for guaranteed 30 day zero pixel? Instead of bashing them on the forum talk to them calmly. Or you can return the notebook for a refund or exchange. But this is not an appropriate response since XoticPC is well known for helping customers resolve problems.

If XoticPC pc does not allow me to purchase the pixel crap then yes I will belittle them.

My point is that the last laptop I bought from them(last September) I had no issues with it and the QA was about 4 days, mine was only 1 day.

Wow that's atrocious. Get in contact with Xotic and do an RMA.

But they do allow you to purchase that. And if it's a Sager issue, it's an Xotic issue. XoticPC has better relations with Sager than you do and you purchased XoticPC because they assure their customers they will help them resolve issues.

So did you contact XoticPC or Sager about this before flogging them on the forum? No QA at any company is perfect and just because a laptop leaves from a place fine doesn't mean things don't change during transit. UPS are never careful with packages, they are notorious for being awful, which is why packaging anything securely is important if you choose to use UPS.

Couldn't tell you, picture is bad, looks like dirt of something to me also.

I dunno what this has to do with pixels but I understand how you feel if I just dropped that much money and my laptop came like that I would be P'd off too but I dunno if this is the best way to address it, I am sure it will get fixed keep us updated.

The pattern of those pressure marks makes it look like someone did open-fingered push-ups on OP's laptop lid before shipping it to him

A simply email or phone call to XoticPC would have resolved this. There is no point in getting p'd off, it's already done, in the past, can't change it, only sane and mature thing to do is to problem solve it with his reseller and get it over with. Raging on NBR won't solve anything. NBR members aren't going to be deterred from dealing with Sager or XoticPC, both companies have solid reputations of providing excellent service and machines at the most competitive prices.

I concur, it probably happened in shipping, like I said I am sure it will be resolved and everyone will be happy

Looks like the OP zoomed in with the phone camera. Please take a better picture with a real camera. Cell Phones dont qualify.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the picture. It looks to me like the screen is flexing. It's most likely not mounted properly in the chassis. It happens. My screen flexed too with very slight pressure so I was just careful with it but when I rma'd my machine for the 880Ms, when the machine came back that was fixed with no note or anything so obviously whoever worked on it noticed it and fixed it for me, hasn't been an issue since that video card RMA.

That's called bruising and can happen if the LCD is handled with excessive pressure put on it. Send it back. You have a 30 day return policy. So either return this one and order a new one, or send it in for repair. It has nothing to do with dead pixel policy.

The chances of a laptop arriving with some sort of problem is not exclusive to Sager or XoticPC. I purchased an Alienware 18 and an Asus G751, the AW SLI was broken out of the box so I returned for full refund, the G751 fan sounded like a truck engine and also was returned for a full refund.

Then I purchased a NP8651 through XoticPC and thankfully that arrived in perfect condition. I know the feeling of buying an expensive piece of hardware only to get it and have it be useless, it's a terrible feeling.

Now that it's Monday someone from XoticPC will see this post and get in contact with you but be ready to provide a higher quality photo of the issue.

I thought those brown spots were some light reflection in the back ground.
