    Hi all,

I was just wondering if this is normal for Sager 8678-S to have high temp while running Furmark. In about 4mins the temp reached 85C. Is this normal because it's a slim laptop?

Never ever run Furmark. This software is banned by Firmvare modders like @Prema and Nvidia/Amd. You risk damaging your graphics. Rather use Heaven/3Dmark bench in loop.

If your framerate is uncapped then your gpu is working at 100%. Under full load those temps are nothing to be worried about.

It's perfectly normal, and your temp in Furmark was also. Furmark puts somewhat unrealistic stress on the components; gaming - or anything real world - is a better benchmark than benchmarking, really. Enjoy the laptop!

Thank you both for your input! I'm just kind of paranoid since I just got it back from Sager rma. And since this is a slim design I guess it make sense it temps might be higher.

I guess I'll just enjoy it and need to stop worrying about temps lol... After all I still have another year of warranty. :)

If your cpu starts going above like 92C and the gpu is in the upper 80s or 90s, then your getting hot. Most Pascal machines will have cpu temps and gpu temps in the 80s while gaming.
