Just 2 for now. Considering the audio is not stronger part of the Sager's is it worth the expense of buying the Creative Card, and do you guys think it's worth spending a $100 for 0 dead pixel warranty?

    Gugarci,

While the speakers may not be a strong point on Clevo laptops, an external sound card won't make them sound better - it's for plugging in external speakers. The difference in quality is minimal for the everyday gamer, but is something to think about if you're editing videos or music, or just a soundphile.

OK, I'm glad i asked this question. Because I do want the capability to use external speakers.

What about the dead pixel warranty???

I don't think I was clear - you can plug in external speakers to both the laptop with integrated sound and an external card. However, the external card will have a bit higher quality, but won't change the quality of the onboard speakers.

get the 0 dead pixel warranty if you have the extra cash and want the peace of mind. there are a handful of dead/stuck pixel reports with these screens, but

i'd say most owners without the warranty lucked out and received good screens, and a few of us got some dead/stuck pixels - i was lucky enough to get one stuck pixel that i was able to get rid of
