This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anybody got any idea if whatever will replace the 8690 will have USB 3.0?

    ...and when the announcement of new models will likely happen?

    CeBit in March is the usual timeframe for Clevo announcements.

    Were the W860 / W870 also announced at CeBit last year? I don't remember.

    Edit: I think it was in July/August 2009 that it was announced.
