Can anyone comment on the build quality of the Sager 8760/8690? I am aware it is of a plastic material but how does it feel/hold up? I used to own a Sager NP5790 with a very durable magnesium alloy build; can the 8760/8690 even compare?

    Thanks guys!

I have only had the two laptops in my sig. I can say the build quality is excellent. Both laptop’s have their share of plastic, but the plastic looks and feels of quality on the Sager. I can say there are things I like more on the Sager and there are a few things I like about my Asus more. The things I Like on the Asus are really minor. The overall impression I have of the Sager is that it’s a professional laptop, not flashy, built to last. Since I am middle aged the Flashy nature of AW is a major turn off, plus the cost for a comparable configuration was a bit more money as well. I looked at the MSI offerings but they have their issues, and in the end I decided against buying that brand. I was hesitant to but the Sager at first but since am pretty happy with it.
